Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity for the school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) at a dynamic educational environment near Austin, TX. This full-time, on-site contract is ideal for those seeking hands-on experience while making a genuine difference in students lives.
Youll collaborate within a supportive multidisciplinary team, working closely with both monolingual and bilingual students. With 10 monolingual and 8 bilingual students on your caseload, each day will bring engaging challenges and the chance to broaden your professional skillset.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) according to ASHA standards
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Previous experienceor genuine enthusiasmfor supporting school-aged children
Spanish language proficiency a plus for working with bilingual students
Ability to maintain detailed and timely documentation
What Youll Do:
Deliver individualized and group therapy to monolingual and bilingual students
Assess, diagnose, and craft treatment plans for a broad range of communication and language needs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to optimize student progress
Monitor and report on student outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding speech and language development
