nAMN Healthcare is currently partnering with a highly respected school district in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, to fill a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position with a district in Rockville, MD. This full-time role consists of 35 hours per week and will run through the remainder of the school year. The district welcomes both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs), making it an excellent opportunity for those beginning their careers in speech-language pathology.nAs an SLP, you’ll be responsible for screening, evaluating, and providing therapy to students with communication disorders, including articulation, voice, fluency, and language challenges. You’ll collaborate with educators and families, participate in IEP meetings, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs. State SLP License in MD

Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulationsnn
