Job description
School Speech Language Pathologist Contract position located in or near Colorado Springs, CO. The role lasts 36 weeks with compensation up to $70 per hour based on experience. The position offers an opportunity to impact students in grades K-8 through assessment and therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-8
Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to students with diverse communication disorders
Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress and goals
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-wide programs as needed
Qualifications:
Colorado State SLP License or equivalent in good standing
Minimum 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting, managing a caseload of 50-60 K-8 students
Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a school environment
Background check clearance and ability to work days shift
