Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week; Benefits Eligible

We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist for children birth to age 3. In this role you will be responsible for providing evaluations and speech therapy for children with delays and/or communication needs to recover, develop or improve independent communication abilities so that the child can reach their maximum independence. Collaborating with other team members, you will:

Performs speech language therapy services for children in homes/community for Early Intervention services

Communicates with families regarding child's progress

Promotes maximum independence by implementing quality, individually designed treatment plans and activities

Teaches and trains caregivers by demonstration/modeling of activities and providing a home program when appropriate to promote maximum independence

Completes required documentation on each child

Applicant general qualifications include:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required

Current License to practice Speech Language Therapy in the state of AL.

Certificate of Clinical Competence or working towards certificate required

ABESPA and ASHA licenses preferred

Basic computer skills and use of EMR required

Experience working in pediatric speech therapy preferred

Valid driver's licenses required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
