Speech Language Pathologist – Early Intervention / Preschool

If you're passionate about helping young children build strong communication skills during their most critical years of development, this opportunity offers both purpose and flexibility. Join a collaborative, highly supportive team delivering impactful speech therapy services to children from birth to age five across a well-defined, local territory.

Why This Role Stands Out: This position combines the autonomy of a flexible schedule with the support of an experienced, multidisciplinary team. You'll provide itinerant therapy services in natural settings—homes, daycares, preschools, and clinic environments—allowing you to make a meaningful difference in children's everyday lives.

Competitive compensation: $60–$70 per hour (fee-for-service)

Travel expense and documentation reimbursement

Localized service territory within one hour of Rochester, including the Finger Lakes, Canandaigua, and Brockport

Flexible Monday–Friday daytime schedule

Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Option to work summers

CFY candidates encouraged to apply

What You'll Do

Deliver speech-language therapy services to children ages birth–5

Work across a variety of settings including homes, preschools, daycares, and clinics

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinical and educational professionals

Support children and families through individualized, developmentally appropriate care

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology

Certification as Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
