Speech Language Pathologist
nPosition Summary
nEvaluates and treats speech-language disorders/disabilities for children and adults, provide appropriate recommendations for treatment and prepares complete and timely reports and documentation.
nPrimary Position Responsibilities
nnnEvaluates Speech, Language and Swallowing disorders/disabilities
n
nnProvide therapy for targeted disabilities
n
nnMaintains acceptable patient care productivity
n
nnCompletes thorough diagnostic reports and documents daily progress
n
nnCounsels and educates patient/family
n
nnCommunicates with other essential medical personnel
n
n nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nRequired:
n? Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
n? Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
nPreferred:
nDoctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
nMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
nRequired:
n1-3 years in a healthcare setting; dysphagia experience; may consider CFY candidate.

nLicense, Registry or Certification:
nRequired:
nNJ Dept of Consumer Affairs Licensure Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible for).
