Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist

Looking for a position that gives you flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and families? Encompass Family Support Services is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team! This position offers flexible scheduling, the ability to manage your own schedule, and remote work opportunities for eligible job duties. Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide home-based, family-centered speech-language services to infants, toddlers, and their families through the Early Intervention Program. The Speech-Language Pathologist partners with families to evaluate communication development, provide evidence-based intervention, strengthen caregiver capacity, and promote positive developmental outcomes. Services are delivered in natural environments, including homes, childcare settings, and community locations throughout the assigned service area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations and ongoing assessments for eligible infants and toddlers.

Assess communication, language, speech sound development, social communication, and feeding or swallowing when appropriate.

Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and contribute to Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

Provide speech-language therapy using evidence-based, family-centered practices in natural environments.

Coach caregivers on strategies that promote communication, language development, and participation in daily routines.

Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, therapists, and community agencies to ensure coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state licensure, Medicaid, and Early Intervention program requirements.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.

Travel within the assigned service area to provide home and community-based services.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Required

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current North Dakota Speech-Language Pathology license.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain.

Valid North Dakota driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing pediatric or Early Intervention services.

Experience working with infants, toddlers, children with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families.

Knowledge of child development, family-centered intervention, coaching practices, and community resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build collaborative relationships with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to family-centered, strengths-based, culturally responsive care.

Compensation

Location & Flexibility: Competitive Pay: $34–$45 per hour, depending on experience Full-Time: Approximately 40 hours per week Flexible Scheduling: Work with families to create a schedule that works for you Schedule Autonomy: Enjoy the ability to manage and organize your own schedule Remote Work: Remote work opportunities available for eligible administrative, documentation, and virtual responsibilities Location: Services provided throughout the assigned service area, with travel required for in-person visits Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan with up to a 3% match Company paid Long Term-Disability Company paid $25,000 life insurance policy
