Minimum Requirements
Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) or incumbent must obtain CCC-SLP within the first year of employment and maintain certification throughout employment
Active Alaska State License in Speech-Language Pathology is required to start the position
Experience providing pediatric SLP services in hospital or inpatient settings preferred
Experience with pediatric assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
Ability to work across settings including inpatient, outpatient, home visits, and community clinics
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to remote locations by boat or small plane for multiple days
BLS Certification may be required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
