nPay rate : $60.00 hr (1099)
nLocation : Hemet Unified School District, Acacia Schools 1791 W. Acacia Avenue, Hemet, CA 92545
nShift hours : 7:30am-4:00pm
nJob Description:
nnUnderstand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
nKnowledge of appropriate diagnostic and screening instruments in the area of speech/language.
nKnowledge of appropriate materials to be used with specific deficiencies at the various grade levels.
nKnowledge of equipment necessary for speech/language screening.
nAbility to interact well with handicapped and regular students; ability to interact with staff, parents and community agencies.
nMaster's or higher degree, including all courses needed to meet requirements for credential.
nGeneral Speech Correction and Lip Reading in Remedial Classes or General Special Secondary Credential in Correction of Speech Defects, Standard Teaching Credential with a Specialization in elementary or secondary Speech and Hearing or Standard Teaching Credential Limited Specialization Preparation in the area of Speech and Hearing or Standard Restricted Special Education credential in the area of Speech and Hearing Specialist or Speech and Hearing Therapy or a Specialist in Communication Handicapped or a Specialist in Clinical Rehabilitative
nOne (1) year of prior professional Speech Pathologist experience preferred within the school setting
nCA SLP License, CTC SLP Credential, BLS
n nSite Support / Travel: These positions require the contracted employee to drive site-to-site daily supporting student services. school sites are located in the Hemet, San Jacinto, Idyllwild, and Anza areas.
