Job description
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

nnnAssess speech and language skills, development, articulation ability and voice and fluency disorders of individuals served.
n
nnDirect and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
n
nnReview medical records, test and evaluate individuals served and develop therapy treatment plans.
n
nnIdentify and develop intervention strategies.
n
nnInstruct individuals we serve, family members, and primary caregivers to insure the maintenance of or to achieve the ideal functioning level for each person served.
n
nnInsure effective coordination of individual’s served home care services.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnMaster’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
n
nnOne year experience as a Speech Therapist
n
nnCurrent state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist
n
nnValid driver’s license in good standing
n
nnAccess to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
n
nnSuccessful clearance of local and/or state background checks
n
nnEffective communication skills to manage relationships
n
nnA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
