Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Ashland, Missouri, for the school year. This full-time position offers 35-37.5 hours a week and runs from August 2026 through June 2027. You will divide your time equally between a special education preschool and an elementary school, making a meaningful impact across diverse student populations.
Requirements:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC credentials
Experience working in school settings highly preferred
Ability to adapt between preschool and elementary school age groups
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech and language needs in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
Manage a caseload across both preschool and elementary campuses
Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute to the special education team
Implement engaging, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
