Job description
A rewarding opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in a vibrant educational environment near Brewer, ME. Contract Details:
Start date: July 8
Onsite assignment
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the ESY program
Desired Skills & Experience: Hold or working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP) candidates are welcome
Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Aptitude for developing and executing individualized intervention plans
Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Key Duties: Perform evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and small-group formats, onsite
Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress in accordance with school and regulatory policies
Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
