Job description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication and language development as a Speech-Language Pathologist working across two elementary schools near the Bridgeport, CT area. This contract position is available immediately and extends through the end of the school year, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise can help students thrive.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders

Current SLP-CCC certification required

Eligibility for Connecticut licensure

Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous

Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students

Ability to travel between two nearby elementary school campuses

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both assigned schools

Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to support student needs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Engage parents and caregivers in the therapy process

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
