Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Brighton, MI. You'll be stepping in to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave, ensuring continuity of care for students in grades Young 5 through 3rd grade. The assignment spans mid-September through December, with a few orientation days prior to your start.

Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Michigan
ASHA CCC or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates welcome
Experience or practicum in a school setting highly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
Responsibilities: Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students in Young 5 through 3rd grade
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write progress reports
Develop and carry out targeted intervention plans
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster inclusive classroom settings
Maintain timely, compliant documentation and IEP paperwork
