Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students onsite at an elementary setting near Bushnell, FL. Provide essential speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 40 students over the full academic year. With your own dedicated therapy space, you'll have the resources and environment to help each student thrive.
This role welcomes both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year! There is flexibility for a hybrid schedule, allowing the right mix of in-person and remote work. Candidates who are open to travel are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility)
• CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFY applicants welcome
• Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working independently in an elementary environment
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Maintain documentation and progress reports per school and federal guidelines
• Utilize a dedicated therapy space for individual and group sessions
• Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt to a hybrid work schedule if needed
