Job description
Make an impact supporting students' communication success as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school-based contract role near the scenic Butler, TN area. This opportunity is ideal for professionals skilled in speech and language interventions across school and healthcare settings, including those working towards their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or experienced with teletherapy.
Qualifications we're seeking:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Associate's degree for SLPA
Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), or SLPA credentials accepted
Experience delivering speech therapy in schools or healthcare environments
Familiarity with virtual therapy tools (for teletherapy positions)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting student learning and growth
Responsibilities in this rewarding role: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IEP goals and district/state guidelines
Provide support and interventions for a range of speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs
Consult with teachers and staff to successfully integrate therapy goals in the classroom
Participate in IEP meetings and support data-driven progress monitoring
For teletherapy: Deliver services in a secure and engaging online format
