Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, onsite role runs from August 2026 to June 25, 2027, and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on communication skills and academic success. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Michigan SLP license required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Comfortable working with K-12 students across a range of communication needs
Must be available to work onsite; virtual-only candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
Consult with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language interventions into the classroom
Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
