Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with elementary students, helping them develop vital communication skills in a collaborative and welcoming environment. The position is based on-site and runs through the end of May 2027-perfect for skilled SLPs passionate about working in schools.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Experience in a school setting, especially working with elementary students, is highly preferred
Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and school-based documentation
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Strong commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning experience
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support educational goals
Participate in IEP meetings and help shape individualized educational programs
Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with school policies
Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education as needed
Enjoy the stability of a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) in a supportive school setting, with clear assignment dates through the end of May 2027.
