Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Dover, DE area. Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs
Work directly with students individually and in groups
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and support compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Consult with classroom teachers on strategies to reinforce communication goals
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility evaluations
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Current SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain before start)
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
Previous school or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
