Job description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students through expert speech-language therapy in a dynamic educational environment near Elk River, MN. This contract opportunity allows you to use your SLP knowledge to create engaging, effective experiences for learners while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Passion for helping K-12 students achieve their communication goals
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Organizational skills and adaptability to varied caseloads
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
Maintain accurate records, complete progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
Contribute insight and expertise to multidisciplinary teams within the school community
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
