Job description
Step into a rewarding contract position working full-time with a welcoming school community near Floresville, TX. This opportunity is designed for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about helping students unlock their fullest communication potential. You'll support learners across a variety of needs while collaborating with educators and families.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas (or eligibility)
Consideration for SLPs holding CCC as well as strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to organize and manage caseload effectively
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students, following IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents/guardians
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student planning and program reviews
Provide support and resources for classroom modifications and communication strategies
Details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Position runs from August to the end of the school year (EOSY)
