Job description
Step into an engaging opportunity to provide speech-language therapy services in a supportive elementary school environment for the full academic year. You'll support a manageable caseload of around 40 students, working onsite at a welcoming elementary school near Groveland, FL. Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) as well as those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Previous experience in a school setting highly regarded, but not required
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Comfortable with both onsite and hybrid service delivery
Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 40 students
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver speech-language therapy to students grades K-5
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student learning
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
Utilize your own therapy space for planning, sessions, and student engagement
Participate in IEP meetings and school team initiatives
