Job description

Experience the rewards of making a difference in early education as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity focuses on providing specialized support at PreK and community-based sites, working closely with young learners near Haverhill, MA. You'll play a key role in fostering communication development in an engaging, supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Previous experience in educational or early childhood settings preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Passion for helping preschool-aged children reach key developmental milestones

Primary Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech-language assessments for PreK students

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for a caseload of 10-15 students

Deliver therapy sessions at Moody PreK and multiple community sites, focusing on 15 hours per week

Monitor progress and maintain clear, detailed documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student growth

Participate in IEP meetings, communicating evaluation results and therapeutic recommendations

Provide consultative support and resources for families and educational staff
