Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting primary and elementary school students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in the Humble, TX area. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with school staff and directly impact student success during the academic year.
You'll work a consistent 40 hours per week in a welcoming school environment, providing supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), overseeing comprehensive speech-language evaluations, and facilitating ARD meetings. Notably, this position does not require direct therapy services, allowing you to focus on evaluation, support, and supervision duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLP license in Texas (CCC-SLP preferred)
Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
Strong skills in speech-language evaluations and IEP/ARD facilitation
Ability to provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs
Organized, collaborative, and effective communication skills
Responsibilities: Supervise and support assigned SLPAs in their daily activities
Conduct speech-language evaluations for students in primary and elementary grades
Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, ensuring appropriate student support
Collaborate with campus staff to monitor student progress and needs
Maintain accurate documentation as required by school and state guidelines
