Job description
Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist at a vibrant pre-kindergarten program. This contract-based role focuses on providing expert communication interventions with a manageable caseload of 10-15 students across Moody PreK and community sites in the Lowell, MA area.
Guided by collaboration and compassion, you'll partner with dedicated educators and families to nurture the growth of children in their most formative years. Enjoy a flexible 15-hour per week schedule while making a daily impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
SLP licensure in Massachusetts required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Experience with preschool-age children strongly preferred
Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools and IEP processes
Confident communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
Effective time management and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities: Conduct screenings and assessments to determine children's speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication challenges
Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of strategies
Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
Provide consultative support for preschool staff, sharing best practices and resources
