Job description

Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students' communication journeys throughout the 2026/2027 school year. Drawing from your background in speech-language pathology, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and students across a diverse K-12 caseload. Your expertise will help ensure every student has the tools and strategies to succeed both academically and personally.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or candidate for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Experience in a school setting is appreciated, but strong clinical fellows are welcome to apply

Solid understanding of IEP processes, speech, language, and communication disorders

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and screenings for K-12 students with communication needs

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in both group and individual settings

Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student progress

Keep organized documentation and contribute to IEP meetings

Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and expand your skillset
