Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary school students for the academic year. You'll make a meaningful impact by helping children develop essential communication skills in a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates possess strong experience in a school-based setting and have an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Deliver targeted therapy, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and empower students to overcome communication challenges that affect learning and social development.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP licensure and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Prior experience providing speech-language services in K-12 schools, ideally with younger learners
Strong assessment and individualized education program (IEP) development skills
Clear written and verbal communication abilities
Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs
Role Duties: Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for elementary-aged students
Write and manage IEPs; develop personalized therapy goals
Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
Track student progress and report results to parents and staff
Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other service providers
Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
This contract position offers highly competitive hourly pay ranging from $45 to $55, based on your experience. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options are also included to support your well-being throughout the school year.
