Job description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist near Moyock, NC for the school year. This position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The school-based setting offers you the chance to support students' communication development alongside a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
In this role, you will be working full-time with a manageable caseload of approximately 50-60 students. Immediate interviews are being scheduled, so candidates with a strong drive to make a difference in the educational journey of children will be prioritized. All applicants must be licensed to practice in North Carolina and hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Valid North Carolina SLP license or certification
Eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to promote student success
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school standards and regulations
