Job description
Make a difference in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist at a welcoming school community near Newark, DE. This contract position offers full-time stability throughout the school year, allowing you to focus on meaningful relationships and dedicated therapy in a single school setting-no daily travel between locations required. You'll play a vital role in students' growth and educational journey by providing expert speech and language support.
What You'll Do:
Provide targeted speech and language therapy tailored to students' IEP goals
Conduct insightful assessments and evaluations to determine communication needs
Design and implement individualized treatment plans for lasting student success
Track student progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and allied professionals
Participate actively in IEP meetings, supporting team-based approaches to achievement
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current or eligible Delaware SLP licensure
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
Previous school-based experience a plus, but not required
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
