Job description
Make a real impact on students' lives by supporting communication and language development in a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract position is ideal for professionals eager to use their expertise in speech, language, and teletherapy within a collaborative educational environment. Whether you're an SLP-CCC, SLP with CFY status, or an SLPA experienced in either school or healthcare settings, your skills are in high demand.
Key Qualifications:
Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP applicants
Ability to provide teletherapy and on-site services as required
Strong communication and rapport-building abilities with students, staff, and families
Experience in IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
Professionalism and passion for enhancing student outcomes
Recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
Document student progress towards IEP goals and report outcomes
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff
Support students in both in-person and teletherapy formats
Provide caregiver and staff education related to speech and language needs
Maintain compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
