Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting local students as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract position, you'll provide essential speech and language services while collaborating with a passionate educational team to make a positive impact. You'll help maintain high-quality support for students as you assist with caseload coverage and contribute to a nurturing school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license and California certification
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic educational setting
Strong organization and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy onsite for students with diverse needs
Conduct assessments, reevaluations, and assist in developing IEP goals
Work alongside special education staff, teachers, and parents to promote student success
Assist with documentation and progress reports according to district protocols
Support students' communication, language, and social interactions
Contribute expertise to intervention planning and team meetings
Manage a 35+ hour week, ensuring comprehensive support as assigned
