Job description
Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist, making a true difference in the lives of students for the academic year. This contract position begins August 3, 2026, running through May 28, 2027, with school starting August 6th. You'll work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across school sites to be determined in the Pleasanton, CA, area.
Ideal candidates bring expertise as an SLP-CCC or are ready to advance their career as an SLP-CF. Your knowledge and dedication will help foster student growth, communication, and confidence throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CFY candidates welcome)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are encouraged to apply
Experience with school-aged children, including assessment and intervention planning for a diverse student population
Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, families, and caregivers
Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to student needs
Deliver direct therapy services and track progress
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Provide guidance and support to families and colleagues on speech-language challenges
