Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational environment. A contract opportunity is now open for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to work with diverse learners, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure every student achieves their communication goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
Prior experience in K-12 educational settings highly desirable
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data and student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
Provide direct therapy services and monitor student outcomes
Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and required reports
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide expertise in speech and language development
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and licensure requirements
