Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in an educational setting near Rohnert Park, CA. This on-site position is available ASAP and will continue through the end of the school year, providing vital speech and language services to students while supporting the existing SLP team.
In this collaborative role, you will play a key part in helping a dedicated school community, making a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students. Your skills and expertise will ease caseload demands and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active state licensure as required for speech-language pathologists in California
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Ability to provide services to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
Conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive student support
Help manage and alleviate the existing SLP caseload
Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in line with school and regulatory standards
Contribute to a supportive, student-centered learning atmosphere
Enjoy a structured weekly schedule of 35+ hours onsite, engaging with students and professionals in a vibrant educational environment.
