Speech Language Pathologist in Triangle, VA

This contract opportunity is perfect for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist eager to support one school community and help young learners reach their communication goals.
This part-time role is based on-site, working with elementary-aged students throughout the academic year. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive therapy plans and foster an inclusive atmosphere. The position offers consistent part-time hours each week, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a positive impact.
Qualifications:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia
Prior experience working with school-aged populations, especially elementary students, preferred
Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, teachers, and families
Satisfy all district-specific credentialing requirements, including a TB test and background check performed on-site with district HR
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students at the assigned elementary campus
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
Document and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with all state and district regulations
Collaborate with an engaged school team to promote student achievement and wellbeing
