Job description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) opportunity is available for an enthusiastic professional seeking a flexible, part-time contract position near Vail, AZ. This assignment is ideal for experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) passionate about fostering communication skills and academic success. For those interested in a full-time schedule, there may be the potential to pair this position with additional hours in another nearby district.

In this dynamic role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to help students thrive. Your expertise will empower learners to overcome communication challenges and participate fully in their education.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but clinical fellows are welcome

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement IEP-based therapy plans and measurable goals

Deliver individualized and group speech-language services

Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and federal guidelines

Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
