Job description
Make a meaningful impact working with students as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist during the 2026/2027 school year in a K-12 district near Vallejo, CA. This contract opportunity is perfect for SLP-CCC certified therapists as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) eager to develop their clinical skills in a supportive and dynamic school setting.
Speech Language Pathologists in this role will serve a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and families to create individualized intervention plans and foster communication success in the classroom and beyond.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Active California SLP license or eligibility
SLP-CCC credential or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) candidacy
Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Commitment to providing equitable, student-centered services
Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12 grades
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
Deliver services in a variety of settings: inclusion, pull-out, and consultative models
Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
This position offers a competitive hourly pay ranging from $55 to $65, reflecting experience and credentials.
