Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting high school students for the school year. This contract position is located in the vibrant Ventura, CA area, offering stability with an immediate start and a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active state SLP license or eligibility
Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high school-aged students
Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities: Manage a full-time caseload of high school students, providing both group and individual therapy
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team
Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
Provide consultation, support, and resources to teachers and families to optimize student success in the classroom
