Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) mandatory
Experience in school settings highly valued
Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Collaborative spirit and passion for positively impacting student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student
Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual and group settings
Maintain accurate student records in compliance with school and state regulations
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster student progress
Provide consultative support and resources to parents and staff
Stay current with innovations and research in speech-language pathology
