Job description

Make an impact supporting K-12 students for the upcoming 26/27 school year! A contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available near Williamsburg, VA, offering a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care and expertise within a dynamic educational setting.

In this role, you'll work 37.5 hours per week and manage a mixed caseload across kindergarten through 12th grade. Your dedication will help students reach their full communication potential while collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid and current state SLP license/certification (or eligibility to obtain)

Previous experience working with school-aged children and IEP teams

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt interventions for students with varying needs

Key Responsibilities: Complete speech-language assessments, develop treatment plans, and set individualized goals

Deliver therapy services tailored to various student populations (articulation, language, social communication, and fluency disorders)

Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and IEP compliance

Consult with teachers and parents to streamline support and generalization of communication skills into daily activities

Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development
