nAbout the Role:
nPerformance Pediatrics is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team in Lafayette, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by delivering high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy in a supportive pediatric environment.
nResponsibilities:
nEvaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
nProvide direct therapy services targeting articulation, fluency, voice, language, and feeding/swallowing
nCollaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to support patient progress
nMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including progress notes, evaluations, and reports
nMonitor and track patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed
nParticipate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development
nRequirements:
nMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
nCurrent NJ state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
nASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
nExperience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or school-based setting preferred
nKnowledge of AAC, feeding therapy, and language development disorders is a plus
nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with children and families
nCompassionate, patient-centered approach with a collaborative team mindset
