Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Newark, MD
Pay Rate: $50+/hour based on experience
At Navra, we believe great schools start with great people. We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting in Newark, MD.
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, Your Days Will Include:
Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, communication, and related needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals related to speech and language services.
Provide individual and small-group therapy based on student needs and IEP requirements.
Support students with articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other communication needs.
Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust therapy strategies and interventions as appropriate.
Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, administrators, and other related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, therapy notes, and other required records in accordance with school and state requirements.

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Pay: $50+/hour based on experience
Schedule: Follows the school calendar
Successful Candidates Possess Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active or eligible Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred when applicable
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, evaluations, and school-based service delivery
Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
