nHow you'll make an impact in this role

nnnPerform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.

n

nnEducate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.

n

nnMaintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.

n

nnPlan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services.

n

nnProvide information regarding appropriate support programs.

n

n nWhat minimum requirements you'll need

nLicensure / Certification / Registration:

nnnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

n

nnSpeech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

n

n nEducation:

nnHigh School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
