Job description
Speech Therapy Plus LLC is looking for energetic and motivated speech therapists to join our dynamic team in Ramsey, NJ.
nWe are a growing private practice offering evaluation and treatment to toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents. The SLP will be expected to provide skilled intervention and parent training, while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. Speech Therapy Plus LLC focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments.
nPediatric experience is required.
nThis is a Full-time position. Candidate must be available weekdays late afternoons/evenings.
nResponsibilities:
nDiagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders
nDevelop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders
nComplete daily treatment notes, maintain or records (e.g. progress reports, plan of care etc.).
nCollaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, other professionals, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines.
nMonitor and maintain re-assessments of clients services as deemed necessary by facility and/or client’s insurance carrier
nComplete client and parental/caregiver education as well as provide home exercise programs when appropriate
nMaintain a friendly and supportive rapport with clients, parents/caregiver, and facility co-workers
nRequirements:
nnMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
nValid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
nPrevious experience in a clinical setting is preferred
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team
nKnowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
