Overview
nPosition: Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics
nLocation: 3770 8th street SW, Altoona IA 50009
nSchedule: Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm
nCompensation: $63,000 + depending on experience
nIncentives: $350 Per month in uncapped student debt relief
nSelect Kids Pediatric Therapyis seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!
nWe evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.
nThis position offers strong mentorship in all areas of pediatric speech language pathology, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more. New graduates seeking to complete their CFY are welcome to apply!

n nResponsibilities
nnnBuild Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
n
nnCollaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
n
nnPersonalized Treatment: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes. Provide ongoing evaluation of your patients’ status and goals.
n
n nQualifications
nnnMeet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
n
nnState SLP licensure and ASHA certification is required.
n
nn300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
n
