nPosition: Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics (PRN)
nLocation: 5659 Stadium Drive, Ste 2, Kalamazoo, MI 49009
nSchedule: Monday-Thursday (4 x 10 shifts - 40hrs a week)
nCompensation: Depends on experience
nnNovaCare Kids is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team! This will be maternity leave coverage for 12 weeks starting in December. Previous pediatric experience preferred with strong pediatric focus in school
nnWe evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.
nn Must have CCCs for this position! Experience in outpatient pediatrics is preferred.
nResponsibilities
n Build Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Collaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
Personalized Treatment: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes. Provide ongoing evaluation of your patients’ status and goals.
n nQualifications
n Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
State SLP licensure and ASHA certification is required.
300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
