Job description
Central Florida Therapy, a leading pediatric therapy clinic in Sanford, FL, is seeking a talented and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping children with communication disorders reach their full potential. nResponsibilities:
nnConduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children
nDevelop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
nProvide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
nDocument client progress, maintain accurate records, and write reports as needed
nEducate and involve parents/caregivers in therapy goals and strategies
nStay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
n nQualifications:
nnMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
nValid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
nCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CFY will be considered.
nExperience working with pediatric populations (clinical internships included)
nExperience with AAC preferred
nStrong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders in children
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
nAbility to work effectively as part of a team
