n nJob Summary:
nnThe Speech Pathologist will treat clients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs, keep appropriate records, and inform agency and parents about students' progress.
n nDuties/Responsibilities:
nn Provides services to clients according to treatment plan, evaluates, and maintains records of clients' progress.
n Reports progress to parents. Suggests activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program. Attempts to add to their understanding of the program and answers questions and addresses concerns they may have about it.
n Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
n Meets with team to review and discuss evaluation of clients' skills as demonstrated in sessions.
n Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.
n nRequirements:
nnNJ Speech and Language Pathology license.
nWritten and verbal communication skills.
