nResponsibilities

nnnIs responsible for assessing and treating patients referred for speech language, hearing and swallowing disorders in a n effective and professional manner.

n

nnCollaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality of care.

n

nnTherapists provide assessment and care for patients of all ages from neonates through the geriatric patients.

n

nnSupports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

n

n nMinimum Licensure/Certification Required (if applicable):

nnnGraduate of an accredited school with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

n

nnCurrent Maryland License to practice Speech pathology

n

nnCPR certified within probationary period.

n

n nMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

nTwo years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting with an emphasis on adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and communication-cognitive impairments. Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems utilized for documentation, scheduling and charging systems

nPay range: $52.04 Per Diem Flat Rate

nPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
