Job description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a setting in Phoenix, AZ this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques

Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities

Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support

Qualifications:

A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

AZ licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Job details:

Pay: $2,460.91 - $2,537.02 / week

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Assignment Length: 13

Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week

Setting: Rehabilitation Center

Workplace: On-site
